Joyful Frustration

“Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance.” James 1:2-3 (NIV)

Joyfully frustrated.  Oxymoron, huh?  Not really.  It is a battle that rages within me daily.  LIFE is challenging!  I try to be happy, try to look for the good in people and situations, try to do what’s “right”, try to love others.  Let me tell you….IT’S A CHALLENGE.

Let’s start with a little background on myself.  I am a 45 year old woman.  Mother to a son (almost 18), a daughter (almost 17), and another daughter (almost 11).  Wife to a husband for the past 23 years.  My oldest and youngest are both adopted.  It took five years and four surgeries to become pregnant with my middle child.

Throughout my life, I have experienced MANY MANY struggles.  No more than anyone else, I’m sure.  To name a few:  infertility, infidelity, business owner, loss of friends, financial difficulties, many hospital stays, and the list goes on and on and on and on…….

However, through those challenges, I try to look for the joy and blessings.  GOD HAS BEEN GOOD TO ME!  He has blessed me with a beautiful family, lots of friends, a beautiful home…just to name a few.

Throughout this blog, I plan to share my daily adventures…in hopes to provide readers with laughs, tears, and encouragement.  From this blog, I hope to receive encouragement, prayers, stories from others… and maybe even a new AVON customer 😂.

Take care….and thank you.

”Thanks be to God for His indescribable gift!”  2 Corinthians 9:15 (NIV)
